Scripture tells us that our ways are not God's ways; our thoughts are not His thoughts; our timing is not His. Some things just need time. Even when your life hits detours, God still loves you and is protecting and guiding you. Trials in life can strengthen us if we allow them to. James 1:2 says, " count it all joy when you fall into various trials" It may be hard to take that view at first. But if you trust in God and allow the Holy Spirit to lead you, your trials will become your triumphs. God shields those who trust Him.

Lord, give us the Grace to humble ourselves so we can learn all that You desire to teach us. Strengthen us by Your Spirit and Your Word to be mature enough to admit when we're wrong and plant in us a desire to change. Give each of us a compassionate heart so that our apologies will come easier. Help us focus on You and Your perfection, not ours . (Colossians 1v11) Amen.

I will be patient and kind. I will not envy, or boast, or be proud. I will not dishonor others, or be self-seeking, or easily angered, nor will I keep a record of wrongs.
