The Bible says, “Hope deferred makes the heart sick” (Prov. 13:12). It also tells us, “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Heb. 11:1). If the enemy can get you to lose hope, he can get you to stop living by faith.

As Christians, we need to acknowledge that God is good. He gives us all things and He creates all things. We should never forget that. On top of that, we should be always be thankful for the things God gives to us, because we are His creations. Here are some Bible verses about gratitude if you need help giving thanks to God. It doesn't come naturally for everyone, so it's understandable if you need guidance! Psalms 107:1 O give thanks to the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endures for ever. Psalms 118:24 This is the day which the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalms 136:1 O give thanks to the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endures for ever. Lamentations 3:23 They are new every morning: great is your faithfulness. John 11:41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. Our God is good and His love is eternal. Let’s follow David’s lead in Psalm 100 by humbling ourselves in gratitude before the Lord. Complete the song of praise below with your own words of thanks. Shout triumphantly to the Lord, all the earth. Serve the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs. _______________________________________ (Go ahead! Revelation 7:12 As we wrap up this time of thanksgiving to the Lord by reflecting on Psalms of Gratitude from His Word, let’s spend today meditating on this powerful verse from the book of Revelation. May our prayers of thanks to God bring Him blessing and glory and honor forever and ever. Amen. Amen! Psalm 98: Let the Mountains Sing Sing to the Lord a new song, for he has done marvelous things; his right hand and his holy arm have worked salvation for him.
