SELF-CONTROL

Since GOD was gracious enough to send HIS Son to die for our sins, do we think it is acceptable for us to keep breaking the RULES? When we yield to anger, violence, fear, deceit, or betrayal, then we are slaves to our own passions. Instead, we can choose to yield to the fruit of the SPIRIT: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, and, yes SELF_CONTROL. It's hard to fathom sometimes, but self-control is a CHOICE.
"What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now ashamed of? For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of GOD is eternal life in CHRIST JESUS our LORD" (Romans 6:21-23)
