In Times Of Doubt (Judges 6-7)

There are three ways we can approach God: belief, doubt, and unbelief. Belief and unbelief are choices, but doudt is an honest expression of emotion. It is possible to feel doubt even when you want to believe. The Bible makes a clear distinction between the person who is an unbeliever and the person who has occasional doubts during difficult times in life. (Psalm 14:1), (Matthew 14:31).
If Peter and the other disciple struggled with doubt, it should not surprise us when we have similar struggles today. We must remenber, however, that faith is a mark of maturity while doubt is a sign of immaturity.
